Guiding Young Ladies Into Leadership

A Mentoring Pathway for Young Ladies from 8th Grade through Early Adulthood

Luminous Leading Ladies (LLL) is a leadership and readiness mentoring program for girls and young women, delivered through the LLL Diamond Framework, integrating social-emotional learning, college and career awareness, and civic engagement to support key academic and life transitions.

Our Mission

To provide young ladies with consistent mentoring, structured experiences, and long-term guidance that reinforce confidence, leadership development, academic focus, and postsecondary readiness.

Luminous Leading Ladies offers a clear mentoring pathway that supports young ladies as they navigate key academic and life stages through early adulthood.

Our Vision

A future where young ladies have access to mentoring pathways that support their growth into confident, prepared adults.

Luminous Leading Ladies envisions communities and school partnerships where young ladies are guided with consistency and intention and supported as they move through each stage with clarity and direction.

What We Are

Luminous Leading Ladies is a mentoring organization that provides a structured, multi-year developmental pathway for young ladies from 8th grade through age 20. The pathway combines consistent mentoring, guided developmental experiences, and intentional transition support aligned with key academic and life stages.

LLL delivers this pathway through clearly defined models:

The organization offers schools, partners, and families a mentoring structure that is clear, intentional, and responsive to the stages young ladies experience.

How the LLL Pathway Supports Growth

At Luminous Leading Ladies, our mentees are called Diamonds, reflecting growth, potential, and development over time.

Across the pathway, Diamonds experience:

As Diamonds move from middle school through high school and into early adulthood, the pathway deepens while maintaining a clear, cohesive structure.

Supporting Young Ladies at Every Stage

Luminous Leading Ladies supports young ladies across three connected stages of development.

Junior Diamonds (8th Grade)

Early engagement focused on confidence, identity, and readiness for the transition into high school.

High School Diamonds (Grades 9–12)

Ongoing mentoring that supports leadership development, academic focus, and awareness of postsecondary pathways.

Alumni Diamonds (ages 18–20)

Structured guidance and connection during the early years of adulthood, when new responsibilities and independence take shape.
