Luminous Leading Ladies supports young ladies across three developmental stages within a multi-year mentoring pathway. Each stage reflects distinct academic, social, and postsecondary considerations while remaining connected through a shared framework and aligned developmental priorities.
The pathway is designed to support young ladies during key points of growth and transition, offering structure and guidance as they move from adolescence into early adulthood.
Junior Diamonds marks the entry point into the LLL pathway. Young ladies in 8th grade participate in structured mentoring that supports their transition into high school.
This stage emphasizes confidence-building, emerging self-awareness, and early readiness for the academic and social expectations of high school. Junior Diamonds establishes a foundation that supports engagement, preparation, and intentional decision making as young ladies move into the next stage of their education.
High School Diamonds provides mentoring throughout the high school years, supporting identity development, academic focus, leadership growth, and preparation for postsecondary pathways.
This stage offers a consistent mentoring structure that aligns with the realities of the high school experience while supporting long-term planning and readiness for life after graduation. Young ladies engage with guidance designed to support decision making as they consider college, career training, or workforce entry.
Alumni Diamonds extends the mentoring pathway beyond high school graduation. Young ladies receive structured transition support during the early stages of adulthood, including guidance related to navigating new academic, professional, and personal environments.
This stage maintains connection to the LLL community during a period of increased independence and responsibility. Light-touch communication may continue through ages 21–22, aligned with organizational capacity and expectations.
Across all stages, the LLL pathway provides a coherent framework that supports confidence, leadership development, academic readiness and long-term planning.
While participation may vary by entry point or setting, the pathway is designed to maintain clarity of approach and developmental alignment. Young ladies experience mentoring that reflects their stage of growth while remaining connected to the broader LLL framework and expectations.
