A planned community-based extension of the Luminous Leading Ladies mentoring pathway
Community Diamonds is a planned expansion model designed to extend the Luminous Leading Ladies mentoring pathway into community-based environments. This model is reserved for future implementation and will be introduced only when organizational capacity, partnerships, and staffing are positioned to uphold the standards that define LLL’s existing pathway.
Community Diamonds reflects LLL’s commitment to responsible growth, clarity of design, and consistency across all program environments.
Community Diamonds is designed to provide an additional entry point into the LLL mentoring pathway outside of school-based settings. The model will reflect the same developmental priorities that guide the broader pathway, including social-emotional development, leadership development, postsecondary awareness, and community engagement.
Planning and design will follow a deliberate, capacity-aligned process to ensure consistency of structure and alignment with organizational priorities. All development work will occur internally until the model is formally launched.
When activated, Community Diamonds will be guided by the following priorities:
Extending the LLL mentoring pathway into aligned community-based environments
Maintaining clarity of structure and alignment with the existing pathway design
Coordinating intentionally with community partners and local organizations
Preserving consistency of approach across all LLL program models
Community Diamonds is intended to complement existing programs while maintaining coherence across the full mentoring pathway.
Community Diamonds is not active at this time. Future implementation will occur only when the organization determines that:
Community partnerships are aligned with LLL standards and expectations
Organizational systems can support consistent implementation
Staffing capacity supports reliable mentoring engagement
Expansion aligns with long-term organizational planning
All schedules, formats, and implementation tools associated with Community Diamonds will remain internal until formal activation.
Once launched, Community Diamonds will operate as an additional entry point into the multi-year mentoring pathway, complementing School-Based Diamonds and Alumni Diamonds.
The model is designed to extend the reach of the LLL pathway while preserving the clarity, consistency, and developmental alignment that define Luminous Leading Ladies.
